I’m cleaning out my library! Who needs 50 copies of any of my books? Not me! I only need 2 copies each! And if a book is published in hardcover, paperback, extra-large font, library copies, foreign copies, I am AWASH in copies of the SAME book. So, what to do with them? Give them away of course!
NEVER AFTER DOS: STOLEN SLIPPERS is out in TWO WEEKS. GAH!!! *Jonah Hill GIF of him screaming with his hands fluttering by his face*
It never gets less nerve-wracking.
Stolen Slippers is my um, I dunno, sixty-somethingth book. I stopped counting. I’m very very very very proud of it. It’s a book that made me LAUGH countless of times. I cackled, I chortled, I felt for my poor dear characters. I thought about what it meant to be a HERO.
We had something traumatic happen to us while I was writing my book. And my husband was A HERO. I mean, I knew he was a good egg, that’s why I married him. And I knew he could you know, STEP UP TO THE PLATE IF NEEDED. But so often we don’t need this kind of heroism in our daily lives. Oh and our KID was a HERO too. I, however, was the COWARD shaking in the corner. (Which I mean, everyone knew. No one thought *I* would step up to the plate! NO ONE.) We all need heroes in our lives, I’m glad I live with TWO. DOS. DEUX.
Sequels are also hard to write and nerve-wracking. So I’m glad this is done. Book Three was MUCH easier. I’m hoping I can write BOOK FOUR in my sleep. (Probably not lol.) Book Five will be difficult. It’s always a roller coaster.
Anyhoo! A few links to keep you going…

Happy new year and all that stuff. I slid into the New Year like that GIF of the lady falling off the yacht and slowly sinking into the ocean while her friends looked on and laughed. Yeah, we got OMI. Covidmas. It was okay. Again, I was the only one felled by it for a good amount of time. Hubs and kid got it and were pretty much good to go in a few days. Mine LINGERED…. it was icky. So our Christmas tree and all our decorations are still up! Like unwanted guests who linger too long at parties when all you want to do is throw on your pajamas and crash into bed. Sigh. WHO is putting all this away??? Not me! *cackles*
Hope your year is off to a better start!
XOXO
